Zhou Yuping is the founder and chairman of Zhongneng Xingong Power Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Xinmao Steel Processing Co., Ltd. He started where many do — as a sales representative in the silicon steel industry. Over time, he became a professional manager, learning both the technology and the market from the ground up. When he founded his first company, he had only a single slitting line and a belief that precision matters — for power connects the world, and innovation drives the future. In 2020, Wuhan was under lockdown. His team was executing a contract for Baosteel, supplying components to Dongfang Electric Group for the Baihetan Hydropower Station — the world's second-largest hydropower project and a national strategic priority. The team delivered on quality, on time, and achieved zero infections. He later founded Zhongneng Xingong Power Technology, moving the business from processing services to integrated power technology solutions. In 2025, the company secured its first export order for transformer cores to Germany. Zhou holds a Bachelor's degree in Metal Materials Science from Nanchang Hangkong University and completed postgraduate studies in electrical engineering at Zhejiang University.
